Popped in on May 14th to The Clock Cafe for a quick bite on our way to the Leith walkway. It is a lot more spacious than it appears, as they also have a downstairs:) I didn’t get the gentleman’s name who served us, but he was very kind and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere feels very homey! We ordered the cheese omelettes as we weren’t terribly hungry, but the cafe gives generous servings! Definitely get one of the homemade scones as well, as those were delicious:) Would visit here again if we were in the area!

Yesss. You need The Clock Cafe. Ate there 3 or 4 days during the week. Got the same thing, traditional, and it was amazing, great flavor, cooked perfectly, just look at the image I uploaded. The pancakes and espresso/cappuccinos are amazing too. Appreciate it. See you soon.

We stopped by this morning on our way to the castle and had breakfast and coffee. The food and coffee were both great. Moreover, the price was fair. The atmosphere was inviting.

Found this place on Google maps and was impressed by the pictures of the breakfast options. Glad we went as the photos matched the reality. You got so much on your plate for the price including a free small cup of juice (orange and apple) with toast supplied as standard with the breakfast options included in the attached images. Good vegetarian options too. Good value and service was friendly and prompt.

Awesome little place, staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had the veggie breakfast which was really tasty and good quality food. Pretty big plate for a reasonable price too, it also came with a glass of juice included (£8.50). Definitely worth a visit and your money!
